Flip Side! My name is Amanda Cobbs. Currently I reside in the small city of Murrieta , Southern California where I go to school at Vista Murrieta High School , and am a fresh at this time. I grew up in Harbor City , Los Angeles County , California . I currently attend Bronco Swimming Practices daily for my high school. I also was involved in the Vista Water Polo program and played set/ 2 meter defense/ and goalie. I did Swim/Water Polo for two to three hours a day Monday through Friday, and a usual game or tournament on the weekend. I plan to do both of these sports for the rest of my high school career. I was involved in one season of soccer for North Torrance League, but concluded that sport was not for me. I also played one season of track in which I did the softball throw and shot-put, but also, decided this was not for me. I am also involved in Community League Softball, MVGSA, and have played in this league for 9 seasons for both fall/winter ball, and summer/spring bash ball. I grew up in the league as outfield, worked my way up to all the infield, and then grew to become an exceptional catcher. I now can play any position except pitcher, though I know how to pitch and know the procedures the pitchers have to complete in various situations. At the time I am teaching myself to play guitar, both electric and acoustic. I love the beach and enjoy swimming more than anything. I love to swim/ free-dive in Tahoe California and raft on the Truckee River . I love Monterey Bay and Southern California . I enjoy music and write and compose my own lyrics, but don't plan to share them publicly any time soon. For 6 years I cared for and looked after an ill mother that had many health ailing diseases and problems. I learned much about medicine, and learned even more through my mother, herself, who was a nurse in OBGYN. I learned all of the emergency procedures for diabetics and asthmatic persons. I learned how to administer medicine/ helping aids, for such emergencies. Educationally I am very well off, I have excellent grades which at the moment I am holding strong to a 4.0. In middle school I was able to achieve a 4.17 and 4.3 for both 7 th and 8 th grade. I plan to become a pediatric-cardiologist, and want to attend USC or any other private/well established/ intricate 4 year California State University in the Southern California area.
